There are so many wonderful "firsts" in life. You just want to hold on to them with all your heart. When you experience these moments for yourselves... there's an exhilarating rush of knowing that this moment matters! When it happens to your child, though... there's still a sense of excitement. But if you're like me... there's also a sense of sadness. Because it's in that moment where you begin to realize, your baby is really growing up.
Here are some moments that matter... some wonderful "firsts" for our dear Ava!
Ava's first Trick or Treat!
Grandma & Grandpa Peak gave Ava this beautiful, traditional Korean dress, in honor or our heritage. We still need to get professional pictures taken with her in it, but for now, it was such a great dress for such a fun occasion!
We even were stopped by two very sweet Korean teenagers who wanted to take her picture!
And then... we really feel like she's growing up when...
she gets into her "big girl" bed for the very first time!
Slow down, li'l one... slow down.
